<description>K.D. Lang depicted in the Last Supper:
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=54854

I remember the brouhaha over a billboard in K.D.&#039;s hometown being burned for promoting vegetarianism.

I also remember the first time I heard her. It was, I think, on an episode of Austin City Limits. I heard her and Lyle Lovett and his large Band. Her voice was, shall I put it this way...OH MY GAWD!!! That is the best, easiest way to put it. Not just her voice but her manner and ability to be evocative in song. That is rare, to be sure. I was a fan right of the bat.

I had heard of Lyle Lovett and might have heard him sing a time or two, but seeing him perform a wide range of material made me, if not a fan, certainly a listener of great respect.

Lovett and Lang are touring together this year. http://www.livedaily.com/news/Lyle_Lovett_KD_Lang_team_up_for_summer_tour-12005.html?t=2

I might have to go.</description>
